Based on the ionic status of chemical compounds, the pH scale (which ranges between zero and 14.0) provides insights into their interactions. It is good to remember, pH reflects the concentration of hydrogen ions in a solution. The practical meaning of pH is more intuitively understood by using alkaline base (baking soda, sodium bicarbonate) and acids (vinegar, ammoniacal nitro), but it can still be understood from an intuitive perspective.
