Performance

The goal was to make the TS1 driver faster by reducing his weight. The TS1 driver is 45g lighter than stock TS2. It was easy to swing the TS1 Driver because of its light and aerodynamic shaft. Reasonable contact sent the ball on a beautiful high trajectory. My typical shot shape is straight or a little draw, so the slight draw bias of the TS1 design had my dispersion trending more left than desired. One swing adjustment was all it took to get my longest drives down the middle and right of center. Titleist’s SureFit hosel comes standard on the TS1 and offers 16 settings for loft or lie.

Trackman data from Club Champion was amazing. The solid feel of the strikes was validated by strong performance numbers. I also found my spin numbers to be in line with the mid-spin design of the clubs. It’s a pleasant experience sitting down to write up a review and finding that the marketing details match up with actual results.
