You can also share it with any other people you wish to. If you wake up and have oral sex with your partner before you walk into work, you won’t let your colleagues know. Your dentist may be able tell if you are performing oral sex with a partner and then you walk into his office.
This potentially unsettling revelation comes to us from whence most information does these days: TikTok, where various oral health experts have recently posted videos confirming a rumor that’s been swirling on the platform regarding dentists’ ability to tell if you’ve had a certain sex organ in your mouth recently.
Huzefa Kapadia posted a video showing how dentists sometimes can tell whether a patient had oral sex with a penis-having companion. This is due to something called palatal Petechiae. It’s bruising of soft-palate which can happen when oral sex is frequent and aggressive. It’s not likely that a single or two oral sex sessions would cause the tell-tale signs, Kapadia states. “If you like to eat multiple, multi, multiple, numerous, multiple, different lollipops every time… it could mean something,” he said in the video.
Brad Podray (orthodontist) said, in another TikTok clip, that it is possible to tell “Sometimes” when addressing the rumor. It’s typically bruising to the soft palate, called petechiae. However, we won’t take any care of patients who are very young or have suffered from abuse. A TikTok user and dental hygienist @MandiMaee explained that while it’s impossible for a dentist to determine if someone has ever had sex, they might still be able detect an intense fellatio. “To say that I’d be able to tell if you did it three years ago? She said that no. But if it was done recently, and you were aggressive with it, some individuals may have, um…bruising to their palates, if I understand what you mean. This is a good thing. What kind of sex you’re having when and with whom is none of your dentist’s business, and they probably don’t care at all. Consider reducing your frequency for your next appointment if it is important that you aren’t displaying any signs from recent performances.

A jaw-dropping TikTok reveals that dentists are able to tell if you’ve recently performed oral sex.
Huzefa Kasadia, dentist from India, says “I get these questions a lot.”
Kapadia, a Michigan dentistry practitioner, said, “Yeah…we do.” After fellow TikToker @CianMcBrien revealed the fellatio amusement fact in separate posts, Kapadia offered professional lip service regarding dentists and oral sex.
McBrien uploaded a video captioned “Just found out that the dentist can tell [whether] somebody has given [oral sex],” in an early February caption. His mouth is covered in shock by the claims about brain-busting.
Kapadia created a second video explaining further how dentists can quickly determine a patient’s oral health.
@dentite with @cianmcbrien This is how it’s known,” he wrote in a 2.5 million-view post. Kapadia suggested that it is not unusual to have a couple of these, adding that substituting genitalia with candy on a stick would be a way for him to communicate his point.
“But let’s say you like to suck on multiple, multiple, multiple, multiple lollipops all the time … you got a problem,” he added.
Kapadia adds to the TikTok an image showing a soft palate. The soft palate is in the upper part of the mouth, infected in palatal petechiae.

TikTok video uploaded by user “thyrants”, begins with an assertion that “the dental can determine whether someone has [head] given.” Then it ends with what looks like a person in a dentist chair talking about the truth of “fellatioassociated epithema” (a scientific paper on this topic). A seated man said, “Sometimes we are able to tell.” It’s typically bruising of the soft palate, called petechiae. However, unless the patient is very young or signs of abuse are present, we won’t really care.
#dentist #oralhealth original sound – Lil Young Old Man Based on reports dating back to the 1920s, the act of performing fellatio can in some cases leave visible markings or lesions usually round spots that occur as a result of bleeding known as petechiae inside that person’s mouth, but that doesn’t mean such an outcome is common or that dental professionals can regularly ascertain if you “have” or “have not” performed the act.
The French Journal of Venereal Diseases published the first ever report of fellatio-induced oral lesions. A 2017 review of the work revealed that the paper was not only notable for its first publication, but also because the doctor who referred the case described it with enthusiasm. The case involved a sex worker who he believed had a strong work ethic. As described in that 2017 paper and translated from French, the doctor described this patient as a “conscientious partner” who “had attached herself to work like an octopus to its prey.” The TikTok video highlights a case report from 2018 that describes a 47-year-old-man with a lesion discovered during a dental exam:
We found an erythematous circular-shaped lesion in the soft palate of the patient while examining his oral cavity. The lesion wasn’t noticed in the patient, who was otherwise unsymptomatic. …The patient admitted to being sexually active. He was also involved in oral sex. The last time he did this was 3 days before the visit. Based on this, the diagnosis of the erythema that appeared on his soft palate was made.
The scientific record contains many case reports such as these. One 2013 study that examined the literature concerning fellatio-associated oral lesions revealed there may be many mechanisms of injury to the sex act. “Direct and forceful contact of the distal penis against the palate may result in mucosal injury with rupture of submucosal vessels and hemorrhage,” the authors reported in that paper . Another potential cause, as described in the 2018 paper, is the “the negative pressure created while sucking,” which could also damage tissue in the mouth.
While there has been very limited research on this topic, it seems unlikely that fellatio causes lesions in all cases. The 2018 study shown in the TikTok video cited a thesis study conducted on Peruvian sex workers that aimed to screen “for the presence and frequency of fellatio-related lesions.” That work found that out of 132, ” only 17 sex workers had fellatio-related lesions … while the rest did not have any type of injury.” In any event, lesions created during fellatio are, in most cases , asymptomatic and only detected later during a dental examination or while the person is brushing their teeth. Most of the lesions can be resolved by themselves. These cases are not meant to be a warning to dentists that they can tell you everything about your sexual life. However, it is a reminder that a possible oral sex injury could occur if someone has a mysterious mouth condition. A 2013 case report stated that fellatio should be considered by those who work in head and neck medicine. However, it is possible for petechiae to also result from other causes. Another reason it’s inaccurate to say that dentists are able to tell you if your mouth has been exposed is because they don’t know if you had oral sex in the past. When a patient’s medical and sexual history is combined with clinical observations, a dentist could diagnose fellatio. “Because the fellatrix or fellator may be unaware of the etiology of the lesions or may be reluctant to provide these details of the sexual history,” the 2013 case report argued , “the clinician needs to have a high index of suspicion based on the patient’s clinical presentation and collaborating history of preceding fellatio.” Because there are several causes for petechiae in the mouth and because most acts of fellatio do not leave marks, the claim that a dentist can tell if you have or have not performed oral sex on a penis is “Mostly False.” Those caveats aside, some acts of fellatio could potentially be detected by a dentist when observations of lesions are combined with a patient’s own medical and sexual history.

I have been going to Angel Care Dental since I was a young child… so quite a while 😉 and I wouldn’t go anywhere else.
